Roofing Contractor Serving Nebraska, Western Iowa & Kansas City
Project Planning & Coordination:
>> Oversee all phases of commercial roofing projects, from planning and design to completion.
>> Develop project timelines, budgets, and schedules in coordination with the estimating team.
>> Ensure all project materials, labor, and equipment are available and delivered on time.
>> Excellent Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials.
>> Outstanding communication skills.
Team Management:
>> Lead and supervise project teams, including roofing crews, subcontractors, and other field staff.
>> Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is performed to specifications and schedules.
>> Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and safety.
>> Designating material staging areas.
Client Relations & Communication:
>> Serve as clients’ primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
>> Provide regular updates to clients on project status, budget, and schedule.
>> Address and resolve client concerns promptly to maintain strong client relationships.
>> Conduct post-construction inspections, create punch lists, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Budget & Cost Management:
>> Monitor project costs and ensure projects are completed within budget.
>> Track expenses and manage change orders to avoid budget overruns.
>> Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management.
Safety Compliance:
>> Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
>> Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.
>> Address any safety concerns immediately to minimize risks.
Quality Control:
>> Oversee all roofing project quality control aspects to ensure high standards are met.
>> Conduct regular inspections and audits of ongoing projects to ensure work meets design and manufacturer specifications.
Documentation & Reporting:
>> Maintain accurate project documentation, including regular use of the company’s CRM.
>> Prepare and present progress reports to management and stakeholders.
Experience:
>> 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing project management or a similar role within the construction industry.
>> Proven experience managing large-scale roofing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and client relations.
>> Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
Skills & Abilities:
>> Strong leadership and team management skills.
>> Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
>> Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
>> Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
>> Proficiency with project management software.
>> In-depth understanding of safety regulations and construction codes.
>> Clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
>> Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and on construction sites.
>> Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
>> Ability to climb ladders and access rooftops as needed for inspections and project oversight.
